The reason I put off watching it for so long was I terrified it would be basically high school in a really cool setting, and it would be another show wasting its awesome potential. I was really not into Octavia to start with because she was the epitome of that int he Pilot. But then, yeah, the last five minutes. That's what had me coming back too.

The space station and what was happening up there was a huge draw for me too. I really liked Abby right off the bat, and did not like Kane at all.
