Doing this from memory instead of as I watch. Might have more thoughts later.

Ahhhh so much awesome. First I just want to say that this episode was everything I wanted and everything I didn't know I'd need.
*
Murphy going crazy for 86 days, was really well done, gave a sense of the time passing. I really feel for him because solitude is awful, and I'm impressed he came out of that as well off as he did. And I totally love that Emori is back - I really liked her before.
Jaha has drunk the kook-aid! Which I assume is a chip in his head that lets him see ALIE? I guess we're going to find out what her game is. She's still my least favorite new thing right now.
*
Bellamy and the scout crew - I loved that whole opening introduction to Arkadia, from the sparring, to the training group - Harper! Monroe! Miller! - To checking in with Kane, to the new girlfriend (which I don't mind at all - new characters FTW!), to the rover and Octavia on horseback.
The only thing I hate is Jasper, and I'm supposed to not like what he's doing. He's a mess. He's awful and fucking things up, and yes, Bellamy and Monty should totally have left his ass. But I totally get why they all cut him so much slack - grief is a terrible thing. He's going to be Finn fucking up all over again. I already hate it, but I can't deny that it's what makes a good story.

Octavia, oh Octavia, still trying to choose a side, figure out an identity. The triku turned her away, and she doesn't want to be part of skaikru. Meanwhile Lincoln's bridging the gap and making it feel like he's turning away from trikru. Which is partially happening I'm sure. They're the two caught with a foot in each world, meeting in the crossing, and neither one of them is ever going to properly belong.
*
Clarke! I skipped watching the trailer for the panther scene because I was trying to limit spoilers, and I love it! I love how Clarke is such a badass, with a freaking knife. I love how she's learned to speak trigedasleng, and has a friend at the trading post.
Nyla was great, and I like how she knew and didn't let on, and covered for Clarke. I adored the conversation they had - "My back's not big enough" Oh Clarke, honey, and then turning talking into seduction. I'm glad she got that, even if it was short lived.
New grounder who is Captian Vane in Black Sails (is this Roan? I've been avoiding all but the main trailer…) is a smart one. I like him already for it. Every story needs a worthy adversary. I'm betting he had Clarke pegged on that look right before he left.

INDRA AND KANE SECRET BFFs! They are the backchannel! I cannot tell you how much I love this detail! Like after everything, Indra following orders, she reaches out to Kane and he gives her a radio, and they trade info that their leaders need/don't need to know to keep the peace, and I love love love it! And they periodically check in with each other, and it is glorious!

Raven and Abby - I love that Abby is still looking out for Raven. I love that Raven is all prickly, and tells it like it is. Oh my girl, I'm so sorry you're in pain. Since we haven't seen Abby be chancellor for three months, I can't evaluate Raven telling her she's terrible at it, but being stretched thin will make anyone bad at something, and I personally don't think Abby was that great at chancelloring in season 2 anyway. But. Back to the point, which is I really love Abby and Raven's relationship, and have since season 1. It's not quite like Abby adopted Raven, but a little bit like that.

I want all the three missing months fic!!!

ME TOO!
What else is new. I mean, I keep wringing my hands here, but then again, it's Isaiah Washington, and I kinda want to buy what he's selling?
Urgh. I do too. I thought he was a fool literally from Season One; this has only gotten worse here. (To be honest, part of that is Jasper and the archetype he represents, but the other part part of my dislike stems from the fact I keep thinking, I wish Monty got the meaty storylines you sucker get.)
:)))
Yes, yes, this. It's such a realistic depiction for a teenager -- Raven is older than the kids, I know; still she is very young and very traumatized. Raven & Abbie are among the only dynamics ever that I have read genfic for (shipper through and through). They're that compelling.
