That was an intense episode, full of all the hard truths and dirty laundry you could want. I really like that we got a bunch of little scenes between pretty much everyone, but it was Bellamy who seemed to be the one coming to a realization about himself. Clarke and Jasper already knew the worst of themselves, I think -- not that they're coping at all well. I liked that Clarke and Bellamy's final scene was a reprise of "maybe there are no good guys." Clarke realized that at the end of season 2, and now Bellamy gets it. I'm still not sure I forgive him yet for being an idiot.
Clarke well and truly burned her bridge with Nyla, who totally has a point about Clarke keeping things from people. I know it's a leader thing, and sometimes necessary, but the whole way they treated her this episode was pretty terrible, letting Bellamy force her by gunpoint and putting her in danger.
Why couldn't they stay in some random part of the woods? Why did it take seeing Nyla for Alie to know where they were - wouldn't the house be a give away?
Jasper still isn't my favorite, and he's still a dickbag.
Octavia and Monty, oh heart. In the moment, Monty couldn't have done anything else with his mom. It was her or Octavia, and with the info he had at the time that she was chipped, and the fact that his mother first betrayed him then tried to kill him, he did what he could with what he had. I don't envy him his guilt.
I really want Octavia to team up with Indra again, though I have a feeling Indra will be instrumental to keeping Marcus alive.
It took me until about half way through the episode to realize it was our core six together again. I wonder if now that everything is out in the open there will be some actual healing going on. Because no one has healed, they've all of them lost someone who was very important to them. It's no longer Team Adventure, it's Team Gaping Open Wounds With Flesh Eating Bacteria.
Sinclair joining the crew as the designated adult who follows Clarke. I love how much he cares about Raven. Seeing him get fleshed out as a character this season has been wonderful.
